The integration of electroanatomic maps with highly resolved computed tomography cardiac images plays an important role in the successful planning of the ablation procedure of arrhythmias. In this paper, we present and validate a fully-automated strategy for the registration and fusion of sparse, atrial endocardial electroanatomic maps (CARTO maps) with detailed left atrial (LA) anatomical reconstructions segmented from a pre-procedural MDCT scan. Real-time estimation of geometrical transformation between views in distributed smart-cameras systems

In this paper, we present a method to automatically estimate the geometric relations among the different views of cameras with partially overlapping fields of view in a wireless video-surveillance system. The method uses the locations of the detected moving objects visible at the same time in two or more views. The correspondences among objects are found by comparing their appearance models based on dominant colour descriptors while the geometric transformation are computed iteratively and may be used to solve the consistent labelling problem. A method to reduce the FP/imm number through CC and MLO views comparison in mammographic images

In this paper we propose a method to reduce the FP/imm number through CC and MLO mammographic views comparison of the same patient. The proposed solution uses the symmetry properties of the breast to compute a geometric transformation that permits to represent the two images in comparable coordinates systems. Through this method, potential pathological ROIs of one of the projections are correlated with the ROIs in the second view. To show the effectiveness of the result we apply the method on a dataset composed of 112 couples of pathological images. Interrogating witnesses for geometric constraint solving

International audience; Classically, geometric constraint solvers use graph-based methods to decompose systems of geometric constraints. These methods have intrinsic limitations, which the witness method overcomes; a witness is a solution of a variant of the system. This paper details the computation of a basis of the vector space of free infinitesimal motions of a typical witness, and explains how to use this basis to interrogate the witness for dependence detection. Abstract Fluorescein angiography is a common procedure in ophthalmic practice, mainly to evaluate vascular retinopathies and choroidopathies from sequences of ocular fundus images. In order to compare the images, a reliable overlying is essential. This paper proposes some methods for the recovery of irregular motion in fluorescein angiograms (FA). The overlying is done by a three step procedure: detection of relevant points, matching points from different images and estimation of the assumed linear geometric transformation.
